Guiding strip in granules and anti-slip resin to be produced by combining:
• A two-component methacrylate resin METACOL - usage 4 to 6 kg / m²
• Marble granules to be sprinkled onto the METACOL resin - usage 8 to 10 kg / m²
APPLICATION
1. Mark out the area of the guide strip to be produced (15 cm wide) with 50mm adhesive masking paper.
2. Mix the resin beforehand until you have a homogeneous mixture.
3. Add and mix with a mixer the dose of hardener to the resin.
4. Spread the METACOL resin with a 6 x 6mm notched trowel.
5. Sprinkle the granules abundantly, the resin should no longer be visible.
6. Tamp the granules if necessary.
7. Before the resin is fully set, remove the masking paper.
8. After complete drying, sweep up and collect the surplus granules: traffic can be allowed after between 45 at 20°C up to 90 minutes depending on the ambient temperature.
Preparation of the substrate
• surface to be treated must be mechanically intact, free from oil and gravel, at a temperature between + 5° C and + 30° C, at <80% RH.
• on hydrocarbon asphalt: direct application, except for old asphalt, first apply a METAPRIM primer ref. 4228, by the roll, at a rate of 400 to 500g / m².
• on concrete, do a light shot blasting, then apply a METAPRIM primer Ref. 4228 beforehand.
Attention: duration of mixing in a pot: 15 min at 20• c

Application 1 - Unroll the BAO-4N stencil roll, remove the protective film from the adhesive and apply it to the floor. 2 - Mix the resin beforehand until you have a homogeneous mixture. 3 - Add and mix with the mixer the dose of hardener in the resin. 4 - Pour and spread the BAOROLL resin onto the roll glued to the floor and fill the pre-cut cavities; 5 - Peel off and remove the roll in one part. 6 - Wait for complete hardening before allowing traffic.
