Signalling obligations - marking: Inside the built-up areas of the company to which workers have access to carry out their work, obstacles that are likely to cause shocks or falls and hazardous places must be marked out using yellow and black tape or red and white tape. Thoroughfares must be clearly identified, their borders marked out with tape in a very visible colour, preferably white or yellow, depending on the colour of the floor. The positioning of the tape should take into account the required safety distances between vehicles that may be circulating and any object that may be near or between pedestrians and vehicles. The outdoor permanent access routes in the built-up areas should also be marked out unless they have barriers or appropriate flagging. Signalling should be permanent and maintained. The colours define the types of signalling and may include drawings, symbols, etc.
